I first became aware of health issues associated with dairy a few years ago. I had heard rumblings and read various blog posts touting the avoidance of all things dairy. I had longstanding problems with allergies and uneven blood sugars. I felt bloated and fatigued. I even noticed increased joint pain and “brain fog”. Much of this I attributed to age and stress.
As I stated, I seemed to come across more and more articles stressing the harmful effects of dairy and it’s detriment to the immune system and general health. So, I decided to give life without dairy a chance. I will be the first to admit, I was skeptical. For me to endorse a dairy free lifestyle, the benefits had to be noticeable. After a few weeks, I felt better in almost every aspect of my life. While studying the anti-dairy movement, I would often come across alternative milk choices. One that intrigued me was camel milk. I thought to myself, “Why not give it a try?”.
I researched a few distributors and found one that offered camel milk online, so I ordered it. Within a week or so, I had my first batch of fresh camel milk. It was much better tasting than I thought it would be. I then substituted it for most anything I would have used cow’s milk for. (Click here for the best camel milk source)
What happened next is almost miraculous!
I actually cannot believe the changes I started noticing. Without experiencing it first hand I wouldn’t have believed it. I made a conscious effort not to change any part of my diet other than the addition of camel milk.
My stuffy nose and energy levels improved within days. My fluctuating blood sugars flattened out and the bloated feeling completely disappeared. Although some of these symptoms improved by subtracting dairy from my diet, the addition of camel milk made all the difference in the world!
At the time of this writing, I have now been on camel milk for a little over 4 weeks. The results are amazing! I have since had the chance to dive into more research directed towards the positive benefits of camel milk and various child and adult health concerns. Camel milk has been shown to help Autism, Diabetes, and Allergies, just to name a few.
But wait, there is more than just camel milk!
I found not only cheese made from camel milk, but also camel milk soap, lotion, and even chocolate! You can even buy camel milk online in a powdered form!
